Michael Beasley - F - Timberwolves

Michael Beasley, who expects to miss the next two or three games due to his ankle injury, said that he won't return until he is pain-free.
"It's one of those things, I don't want it to shorten my career," said Beasley. "It's my feet. That's one thing you really can't mess with. It's not that serious, but I do need to rest it." Feb. 12 - 10:55 a.m. ET

Amir Johnson - F - Raptors

Raptors PF Amir Johnson (ankle) remains questionable for Sunday's game.
His status won't be known until the morning, but at least the Raptors don't tip off until 6pm EST. If he isn't ready to return, rookie Ed Davis should get another start -- for what it's worth, Davis thinks that Johnson will play. Feb. 12 - 2:55 p.m. ET

Shaquille O'Neal - C - Celtics

Shaquille O'Neal (Achilles) remains out indefinitely for Boston, and Doc Rivers said he might be out beyond the All-Star break.
Shaq also has hip issues and various other ailments, and he hasn't improved much while resting. With Jermaine O'Neal recuperating and Semih Erden also out indefinitely, the Celtics are beyond fortunate to have a healthy Kendrick Perkins holding down the center spot. Feb. 12 - 2:00 p.m. ET

Andrei Kirilenko - F - Jazz

Andrei Kirilenko (sprained ankle) did not practice with the Jazz on Saturday. He is listed as day-to-day.
We know that X-rays were negative, and AK's day-to-day status makes it sound like he avoided any serious damage. C.J. Miles deserves to be owned -- even if Kirilenko returns promptly, there's a chance that Miles will overtake Raja Bell for the starting SG job. Feb. 12 - 1:57 p.m. ET

Andray Blatche - F/C - Wizards

Andray Blatche said that he doesn't usually eat lunch on days when the Wizards have a game -- though he admitted it might not be a good decision.
"I think that’s why my energy be down sometimes," said Blatche. "I think I gotta start eating lunch. I wake up, get me my favorite -- over easy -- and then I just take me a nap and come to the game." Here's hoping that a wiser diet will lead to better consistency and energy from the Wizards' mercurial PF. Feb. 12 - 12:32 p.m. ET

Amare Stoudemire - F/C - Knicks

Amare Stoudemire will miss his first game of the season on Saturday due to a sprained right big toe.
Wilson Chandler will slide into the Knicks' starting lineup, and for the moment Amare should be considered day-to-day. Fortunately, New York doesn't play again until Wednesday (at home vs. Atlanta) but Donnie Walsh was unsure whether Amare will even be ready for the All-Star game. Feb. 12 - 6:30 p.m. ET
